Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru share one of the most evenly matched rivalries in the Women’s Premier League, with the two sides winning three matches each across their six encounters. GG struck first in 2023 with an 11-run win, before RCB responded in the same season with a dominant eight-wicket chase, led by Smriti Mandhana’s fluent 43 and capped by Sophie Devine’s explosive 99 off just 36 balls while chasing 189.

The rivalry only intensified in later seasons with record-breaking moments. In 2024, while RCB cruised to another eight-wicket win at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Beth Mooney’s classy 85 off 51 powered GG to 199/5, winning the second match by 19 runs.

The 2025 opener produced a historic moment as RCB led to WPL’s highest-ever chased total of 202, driven by Richa Ghosh’s blistering 64* off 27 and a match-defining 93-run stand with Kanika Ahuja. GG had the final say later that season with a six-wicket win in Bengaluru, ensuring the head-to-head remains perfectly balanced at 3–3.
