The popular mobile network Vi (Vodafone Idea) has teamed up with the cricket team Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Vi will be the team’s Official Communications Partner for the next three years.

A New Look for the Team

Fans will notice a change in the team’s uniform this season. The Vi logo will now be placed on the leading leg of the players’ trousers. This means the brand will be seen by millions of people watching the matches on TV and at the stadium.

Exciting Benefits for Fans

This partnership is not just about a logo on a jersey. Vi plans to give back to the fans through several special activities:

  • Meet the Players: Some lucky fans will get the chance to meet their favorite CSK stars.
  • Win Prizes: There will be chances to win official merchandise, like signed jerseys and caps.
  • Match Tickets: Vi will offer special ways for its users to get tickets to watch the games live.

Helping Young Cricketers

Vi is also supporting the Super Kings Academy. This is a training center where young boys and girls (ages 6 to 23) learn how to play professional cricket. By working together, Vi and CSK hope to find and train the next generation of cricket heroes.

What The Leaders Said

The leaders of both companies are very happy about this deal.

Avneesh Khosla, a top official at Vi, said:

“Cricket is a huge part of India. Our partnership with CSK is about passion and performance. We want to bring fans closer to the game they love.”

KS Viswanathan, the head of CSK, added:

“We are happy to welcome Vi to our family. Their digital network will help us stay connected with our fans and young players everywhere.”

Ready for the New Season

This deal comes as CSK prepares for the 2026 IPL season. With famous players like MS Dhoni still part of the team and new young talents joining, the partnership with Vi aims to make the “Yellow Army” experience even more exciting for everyone.
