The Women’s Premier League 2026 will start on January 9 and will conclude on February 5. A mega auction took place on November 27 in New Delhi. It was the first-ever mega auction in the tournament’s history. The UP Warriorz used their right to match card for Deepti Sharma and spent INR 3.20 crore for her. She became the most expensive player in the auction.

Mumbai Indians are the defending champions and won the last edition of the tournament after defeating the Delhi Capitals Women in the final by eight runs. Harmanpreet Kaur made 66 runs off 44 deliveries and won the Player of the Match award. Nat Sciver-Brunt scored 523 runs and took 12 wickets in the tournament. She won the Player of the Tournament award.
There have been some great innings by players in the tournament. However, no player has scored a century in the tournament so far.

1. Georgia Voll 99* vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women, 2025
In the 18th match of the 2025 season, the UP Warriroz Women faced the Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women. RCB won the toss and elected to bowl. The Warriorz made 225 runs for the loss of five wickets, the highest total in the tournament’s history.

Georgia Voll played a crucial role with the bat and remained unbeaten on 99 runs off 56 deliveries. RCB were bundled out for 213 runs and lost the match by a mere margin of 12 runs. Voll made the highest individual score in the WPL.
2. Sophie Devine 99 vs Gujarat Giants Women, 2023
Sophie Devine was the first batter to get dismissed on 99 runs in WPL. It was the 16th match of the 2023 edition of the tournament, and Gujarat Giants Women faced the Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women. The Giants made 188 runs for the loss of four wickets.

Devine opened the innings with Smriti Mandhana and added 125 runs for the first wicket. Devine was dismissed for 99 runs in the 12th over. RCB took 15.3 overs to chase down the target of 189 runs and won the match by eight wickets. Devine won the Player of the Match award.
3. Alyssa Healy 96* vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women, 2023
In the 8th match of the 2023 season, Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women faced the UP Warriorz Women. RCB batted first and finished with 138 runs on the board before getting bundled out.

Devika Vaidya and Alyssa Healy opened the innings for the Giants. The duo added 139 runs for the first wicket. Healy remained unbeaten on 96 runs off 47 deliveries. The Warriorz won the match by 10 wickets.
4. Beth Mooney 96* vs UP Warriorz Women, 2025
In the 15th match of the 2025 season, the UP Warriorz Women took on the Gujarat Giants Women. The Warriorz won the toss and elected to bowl. Mooney remained unbeaten on 96 runs off 59 deliveries and helped the Giants post a total of 186 runs for the loss of five wickets.

The Warriorz were bundled out for 105 runs and lost the match by 81 runs. No batter managed to score more than 30 runs for the team. Mooney won the Player of the Match award.

In 2024, the Mumbai Indians Women took on the Gujarat Giants Women. The Giants won the toss and elected to bat. Beth Mooney (66 runs) and Dayalan Hemalatha (74 runs) led the Giants to a total of 190 runs for the loss of seven wickets.

MI lost the first wicket for 50 runs and the second one on 57 runs. Harmanpreet Kaur remained unbeaten on 95 runs off 48 deliveries. MI won the match by seven wickets in 19.5 overs.
