The landscape of women’s cricket changed dramatically on March 11, 2026, as the inaugural The Hundred Women’s player auction saw record-breaking bids and massive squad valuations. Thanks to new private investment, team salary pots doubled to £880,000, leading to some intense bidding wars at Piccadilly Lights.
