UAE Innings: 122/6 in 20 Overs

UAE got off to a shaky start. Muhammad Waseem fell for 22 off 12 balls, and Aryansh Sharma followed for 13. The powerplay ended at 44/2, with UAE struggling to find rhythm.

Alishan Sharafu steadied the innings with 45 off 38 balls, but wickets kept falling around him. Sohaib Khan managed just 6, and Syed Haider added another 6 before Corbin Bosch and Anrich Nortje shared the wickets between them.

UAE finished on 122/6. Corbin Bosch was the pick of the bowlers with 3/12 from 4 overs. George Linde took 1/17, while Nortje grabbed 2/28. UAE’s total of 122 never looked like enough on a flat Delhi pitch.

South Africa’s Chase: 123/4 in 13.2 Overs

South Africa started the chase aggressively despite interruptions from the rain. Aiden Markram smashed 28 off just 11 balls, including 5 fours and a six. The powerplay brought 56 runs, though Markram and Quinton de Kock both fell inside the first six overs.

Ryan Rickelton then took charge with 30 off 16 balls, and Dewald Brevis added a blazing 36 off 25 balls with three sixes. South Africa hit 100 in just 10.3 overs.

Even after losing both Rickelton and Brevis late, Tristan Stubbs and Jason Smith finished things off without any fuss. South Africa crossed the line in 13.2 overs, winning by 6 wickets with ease.

Key Highlight: Player of the Match: Corbin Bosch

Corbin Bosch was the standout performer of the match. With the ball, he returned figures of 3/12 from 4 overs – the best bowling spell of the game. He dismissed Aryansh Sharma, Sohaib Khan, and Muhammad Arfan to keep UAE well under 130. His economy rate of 3.00 told the story of how tight he bowled. Bosch made it near impossible for the UAE batters to attack, and that set South Africa up for an easy chase
