Most hundreds for the Indian Premier League 2026 currently have six batters reaching triple figures. Sanju Samson leads the pack with two, while KL Rahul, Abhishek Sharma, Quinton de Kock, Tilak Varma, and Sai Sudharsan have each scored one masterclass century.

Every hundred has come with a major impact, either setting up a winning total or producing one of the best innings of IPL 2026.

Unlike seasons dominated by one batter, IPL 2026 has seen centuries shared across franchises. Mumbai Indians already have two names on the list, while Chennai Super Kings have one through Sanju Samson. 

With plenty of matches left, the leaderboard can change quickly.

1. Sanju Samson (Chennai Super Kings) – 115* vs Delhi Capitals

In a historic IPL 2026 campaign, Sanju Samson became the first player to smash two centuries, beginning with a masterclass 115* off 56 balls against Delhi Capitals at Chepauk.

Opening the innings, he maintained a clinical tempo to reach his hundred in 52 balls, striking 15 fours and 4 sixes at a rate of 205.35 and anchoring a 113-run stand with Ayush Mhatre to secure a 23-run victory.

He followed this with a landmark 101* off 54 balls at the Wankhede Stadium, becoming the first CSK player to score a ton against Mumbai Indians.

In this “El Clasico” clash, he carried his bat through the innings despite wickets falling around him, striking the final ball for a boundary to reach triple figures and propelling CSK to a massive 103-run win.

Across both matches, Samson’s boundary-heavy approach and ability to carry his bat earned him back-to-back Player of the Match awards and solidified his position at the top of the century leaderboard.

2. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (Rajasthan Royals) – 103 vs Mumbai Indians

At the Wankhede Stadium, the 15-year-old prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi stunned the cricket world by becoming the youngest centurion in IPL history. Opening the innings for Rajasthan Royals, he took on the Mumbai Indians’ bowling attack with fearless aggression from the very first over.

He scored 103 runs from only 38 balls. His innings was a masterclass in power-hitting, featuring 9 fours and 10 sixes at a phenomenal strike rate of 271.05. He dominated the strike, scoring 96 of his runs entirely through boundaries.

Sooryavanshi reached his hundred in just 36 balls, marking it as the fastest century of the 2026 season. Despite his young age, he showed incredible composure, dismantling both pace and spin with ease and making one of the most sophisticated bowling lineups look ordinary.

His explosive start provided the perfect platform for Rajasthan, propelling the team to a massive total of 242/4. His contribution was the backbone of the innings, setting a tempo that Mumbai Indians found impossible to match.

Rajasthan Royals secured a dominant victory, and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was rightfully named Player of the Match for his historic and record-breaking performance.

3. Shubman Gill (Gujarat Titans) – 103 vs Rajasthan Royals

At the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill commanded the crease with a batting masterclass, steering his team directly into the IPL 2026 final. Anchoring a steep 215-run chase in Qualifier 2, the classy opener took complete control against the Rajasthan Royals.

He scored 104 runs from 53 balls. His innings was an exhibition of impeccable timing and elite placement, featuring 15 fours and 3 sixes at an incredible strike rate of 196.22. Alongside Sai Sudharsan, he completely dominated the bowling attack, setting up a record-breaking 167-run opening partnership that broke the back of the chase.

Gill reached his hundred in just 47 balls, shattering the record for the fastest century ever scored by a player in the history of the IPL Playoffs. He also became the first-ever captain to hit an IPL playoff century, showing zero pressure under the bright playoff lights and dismantling both the extreme pace of Jofra Archer and the spin of Ravindra Jadeja with absolute elegance.

His magnificent knock provided the definitive foundation for Gujarat, ensuring the demanding required run-rate remained under control from start to finish. His contribution was the heartbeat of the chase, establishing a relentless rhythm that left Rajasthan’s bowlers searching for answers.

Gujarat Titans completed a historic 7-wicket victory with 8 balls to spare, and Shubman Gill was deservedly named Player of the Match for his unforgettable, record-breaking captain’s innings.

4. Sai Sudharsan (Gujarat Titans) – 100 vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Gujarat Titans were looking to set a massive target at the Chinnaswamy, and Sai Sudharsan ensured they did exactly that. In a masterclass of pacing an innings, he notched up a historic hundred that rewrote the record books.

Sudharsan finished with 100 off 58 balls, including 11 fours and 5 sixes, scoring at a strike rate of 172.41. His calculated aggression saw him find the boundary consistently throughout the powerplay and the middle overs.

During this knock, he became the fastest player in IPL history to reach 2,000 runs, hitting the milestone in just 47 innings. He reached his fifty in 38 balls and then shifted gears effortlessly, smashing his next 50 runs in only 20 deliveries to complete his third IPL century.

He shared a dominant 128-run opening stand with Shubman Gill, providing the perfect platform for the Titans. His ability to anchor while maintaining a high scoring rate allowed GT to maintain pressure on the RCB bowlers from start to finish.

GT finished on 205/3, with Sudharsan contributing nearly half of the team’s total. However, despite his record-breaking feat, RCB chased down the target in a thriller, winning by five wickets with seven balls to spare.

5. Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bengaluru) – 105* vs Kolkata Knight Riders

In a high-stakes run-chase at Raipur, Virat Kohli made history by scoring his first century of the 2026 season. Bouncing back spectacularly after two consecutive ducks, the batting superstar stayed at the crease from the start to the end of the innings.

He scored 105 not out from 60 balls. He hit 11 fours and 3 sixes with a very fast strike rate of 175.00. He scored 62 runs just from boundaries, and the Kolkata Knight Riders bowlers could not stop him.

Kohli reached his hundred in 58 balls. He played both beautiful shots and powerful hits. He held the Bengaluru innings together and allowed other players to score quickly around him.

He had a great partnership with Devdutt Padikkal, helping Royal Challengers Bengaluru chase down a big target. Kohli scored more than half (54.12%) of his team’s total runs.

Bengaluru won the match easily, and Virat Kohli was named Player of the Match for his record-breaking performance.

6. KL Rahul (Delhi Capitals) – 152 vs Punjab Kings

In a big match at Mullanpur, KL Rahul made history by scoring the highest individual score of the 2026 season. As the captain of Delhi Capitals, he stayed at the crease from the start to the end of the innings.

He scored 152 not out from 67 balls. He hit 12 fours and 11 sixes with a very high strike rate of 226.86. He scored 114 runs just from boundaries, and the Punjab Kings bowlers could not stop him.

KL Rahul (Delhi Capitals) – 152 vs Punjab Kings

Rahul reached his hundred in 48 balls. He played both beautiful shots and powerful hits. He held the Delhi innings together and allowed other players to score quickly around him.

He had a great partnership with Rishabh Pant, helping Delhi Capitals reach a huge total of 258/3. Rahul scored more than half (58.91%) of his team’s total runs.

Delhi won the match easily, and KL Rahul was named Player of the Match for his record-breaking performance.

7. Mitchell Marsh (Lucknow Super Giants) – 111 vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Lucknow Super Giants needed a massive performance at the Ekana Stadium to stay in the top-four race, and Mitchell Marsh delivered an absolute powerhouse performance. Embracing his role at the top of the order, he dismantled the RCB bowling attack with a display of pure strength and timing.

Marsh finished with 111 off 56 balls, smashing 9 fours and 9 towering sixes, finishing with a strike rate of 198.21. He was particularly brutal against both pace and spin, repeatedly clearing the long-on and mid-wicket boundaries with ease to bring up the fastest century in LSG history.

Mitchell Marsh (Lucknow Super Giants) – 111 vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru

This knock was a significant milestone for Marsh, marking his highest score in T20 cricket and a dominant statement in the IPL. He reached his half-century in 27 balls and accelerated even further, taking just 22 more balls to reach triple figures, bringing the home crowd to their feet.

He anchored the innings through two crucial partnerships, first providing a platform with Arshin Kulkarni and later a quick-fire 70-run stand with Nicholas Pooran. His ability to hit through the line made it impossible for RCB to set a defensive field, keeping the scoreboard ticking at a relentless pace.

LSG posted a formidable 209/3 in 19 overs thanks to Marsh’s heroics. Unlike many high-scoring games this season, the total proved enough to hold off a late charge, as LSG’s bowlers backed up Marsh’s century to secure a vital 9-run victory (DLS method).

8. Abhishek Sharma (Sunrisers Hyderabad) – 135 vs Delhi Capitals

In yesterday’s clash at Hyderabad, Abhishek Sharma delivered the highest individual score of the season. He dismantled the Delhi Capitals’ bowling attack from the start and carried his bat through the innings.

He scored 135 not out off 68 balls with 10 fours and 10 sixes at a strike rate of 198.52. His boundaries alone produced 100 runs.

Abhishek reached his hundred in 53 balls. He showed incredible maturity, anchoring the innings while allowing partners like Travis Head and Heinrich Klaasen to play aggressively around him.

He shared a massive unbeaten stand with Klaasen (37* off 13), helping SRH loot 242 runs.

SRH finished on 242/2, with Abhishek scoring 55.78% of the team’s runs. SRH won by 47 runs, and Abhishek was named Player of the Match.

9. Shreyas Iyer (Punjab Kings) – 101* vs Lucknow Super Giants

At the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer produced a sensational captain’s masterclass under extreme pressure, single-handedly keeping his team’s playoff hopes alive. Walking into the crease with his team in deep trouble at 22/2 while chasing a demanding 197-run target, he completely neutralized the Lucknow Super Giants’ home advantage with fearless, authoritative strokeplay.

He scored 101 runs from only 51 balls. His innings was an elegant display of bottom-handed power and sublime timing, featuring 11 fours and 5 sixes at a blistering strike rate of 198.04. He constructed a massive 140-run partnership with Prabhsimran Singh, scoring 74 of his own runs entirely through boundaries to completely break the back of the chase.

Iyer reached his maiden IPL hundred on the very last ball of the chase, sealing it in spectacular fashion by hitting a massive six that simultaneously brought up his century and won the match. Despite the immense weight of a six-match losing streak hanging over the franchise, he showed extraordinary composure, effortlessly dismantling both LSG’s pace attack and spin variations.

His explosive middle-overs acceleration provided the perfect counter-attack for Punjab, pulling off a high-stakes victory with two whole overs to spare. His contribution was the absolute backbone of the innings, snapping their losing skid and injecting life back into Punjab’s tournament right when it mattered most.

10. Cooper Connolly (Punjab Kings) – 107 vs Lucknow Super Giants

In last week’s thrilling encounter at Mullanpur, Cooper Connolly announced his arrival on the big stage with a clinical maiden century. The young Australian sensation anchored the Punjab Kings’ chase with remarkable composure, taking apart the Lucknow Super Giants’ spinners in the middle overs.

He scored 107 not out off 58 balls with 9 fours and 6 sixes at a strike rate of 184.48. His boundaries alone accounted for 72 runs of his total tally.

Connolly reached his hundred in just 54 balls. He paced his innings beautifully, starting cautiously before exploding in the death overs, showing a wide range of inventive sweeps and powerful lofted drives over extra cover.

He shared a match-winning 112-run partnership with Shashank Singh (42* off 19), ensuring Punjab stayed ahead of the required run rate throughout the back end of the innings.

PBKS successfully chased down the target of 198 with three balls to spare, with Connolly contributing 54.04% of the team’s total. For his game-changing knock, Connolly was rightfully named Player of the Match.
