Rajasthan Royals secured a clinical 27-run victory over Mumbai Indians in a rain-curtailed Match 13 of IPL 2026 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium on April 7.

A sensational powerplay blitz from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi set up a massive total in the 11-over shootout, before the RR bowlers dismantled the MI top order to maintain their dominant form in the tournament.

In a match reduced to 11 overs per side, Rajasthan Royals came out with all guns blazing after being asked to bat first. Yashasvi Jaiswal played a monstrous innings, remaining unbeaten on 77 off just 32 balls, striking at a massive 240.62. He was brilliantly supported by Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who smashed 39 off 14 balls to propel RR to 80 runs within the first 5 overs.

Chasing a daunting 151 in just 66 balls, Mumbai Indians had a disastrous start, losing their top three, Rickelton, Suryakumar Yadav, and Rohit Sharma within the first 15 balls. Sandeep Sharma and Nandre Burger struck early to leave MI reeling at 22/3.
