Why PBKS vs RCB at Dharamshala Will Sell Out the Fastest

This is PBKS’s last home match at Dharamshala in IPL 2026, and it features Virat Kohli. Those two facts alone make this the hottest ticket of the Dharamshala leg.

RCB fans travel in massive numbers. Dharamshala’s HPCA Stadium has a capacity of only about 23,000, far smaller than Wankhede or Chepauk. As a result, demand will significantly outstrip supply.

For context, the PBKS vs MI match (Match 58) on May 14 at the same venue had multiple stands nearly sold out within hours of going live. Expect the PBKS vs RCB tickets to move even faster.

Since this is a Sunday afternoon match at 3:30 PM, weekend travellers from Delhi, Chandigarh, and Punjab will add to the crowd. If you are serious about getting a ticket, enable notifications on the District app and be ready the moment sales go live.

Expected PBKS vs RCB Match 61 Ticket Prices at Dharamshala

Tickets for this match are not yet live on District by Zomato. However, based on the two previous Dharamshala matches (PBKS vs DC on May 11 and PBKS vs MI on May 14), here are the expected price tiers:

₹15,000CP Plus VVIP Lounge, CP Plus Club Lounge, Corporate Boxes

Note: Actual prices may vary slightly when tickets go live. District also adds a booking fee of approximately 10–12% (including GST) on top of the base price.

The Jio North Pavilion Stand at ₹6,500 has been one of the most popular picks at Dharamshala this season, because it includes a food box and offers premium viewing with an unmatched atmosphere.

For hospitality seekers, the BKT Tyres East Stand 3 at ₹8,000 comes with 2 complimentary beers, food and beverages, and a clear East Stand view. However, this stand sold out within hours during the PBKS vs MI match.

How to Book PBKS vs RCB Match 61 Tickets on District by Zomato

The booking process is the same as all PBKS home matches at Dharamshala. Here is the step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Open District and Find the Match

Go to district.in or open the District by Zomato app. Search for “Punjab Kings vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru” or browse under TATA IPL 2026. Once tickets go live, the button will change from “Coming Soon” to “Book Tickets”.

Step 2: Select Number of Seats

A “Select number of seats” pop-up appears. Choose between 1 and 6 seats and tap “Continue”. The stadium map then loads.

Step 3: Pick Your Stand from the Map

The HPCA Stadium seating map shows all available stands. Colour-coded sections indicate availability: coloured sections are available, while grey sections are sold out.

Stands include Jio North Pavilion Stand, All Seasons North 2 Level 1, Kent West Stand 2 and 3, CP Plus West Stand 1, BKT Tyres East Stand 2 and 3, Nippon Paint East Stand 1, and more.

Tap a stand to see its details and price. Dharamshala uses free seating (first come, first served within your chosen stand), so there is no specific seat selection.

Step 4: Add to Cart and Enter Details

After selecting a stand, use the + / – buttons to choose the number of tickets. Then tap “Add to Cart” and proceed to the checkout page.

Fill in your Full Name, Mobile Number, Email, and select whether you are an Indian Resident or International Visitor.

Step 5: Review Offers and Complete Payment

Before paying, check the Offers section for any cashback or discount deals. District accepts UPI, Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, and Zomato Pay.

You have approximately 10 minutes to complete the entire checkout. Once payment goes through, your M-Ticket (QR code) is generated and accessible in the District app profile.

M-Ticket: How Entry Works at HPCA Dharamshala

Dharamshala PBKS matches use digital M-Tickets. At the stadium gate, show the QR code on the District app to security staff for entry.

Important: Download your M-Ticket before arriving. Mobile signal inside the stadium gets patchy with 23,000 fans around. Have your ticket screen ready offline.

Similarly, tickets can be transferred to another person via the District app if needed, but this must be done before match day.

Important Things to Know Before You Go

This is a 3:30 PM afternoon match, not an evening fixture. Dharamshala in mid-May is pleasant (15–28°C), but the afternoon sun can be strong. Carry sunscreen, sunglasses, and a cap.

Since this is an afternoon match, gates are expected to open around 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM (about 3 hours before). Arriving early is especially important at Dharamshala because of free seating.

Parking is not available at the HPCA Stadium. Use public transport or pre-book a cab. The stadium is about 2 km from Dharamshala town centre.

Children aged 2 and above need a full-price ticket.

Prohibited items include outside food, large bags, glass bottles, professional cameras, and sharp objects.

For travel, the nearest airport is Gaggal Airport (Kangra Airport), about 13 km from the stadium. Pathankot Railway Station is the nearest major railhead, around 85 km away. Book both tickets and accommodation well in advance, as Dharamshala hotels surge during IPL week.

Final Word: PBKS vs RCB Tickets Will Be the Hardest to Get at Dharamshala

PBKS vs RCB Match 61 tickets are not yet live, but this will be the fastest-selling match at Dharamshala this season. The combination of Virat Kohli, a Sunday afternoon slot, and Dharamshala’s limited 23,000 capacity makes this one of the toughest IPL tickets to grab.

Enable notifications on District by Zomato, have your payment details saved in advance, and be ready the second ticket sales open. Once they go live, you will have minutes, not hours, to secure your spot. Good luck.
